Baby Cuttlefish In White Wine On White Rice
Seafood is very light especially for summer. Cuttlefish can be made in different ways.
You will need:
Serves 4
- 1 kg of baby cuttlefish thawed.
- ¼ glass of good dry but aromatic white wine.
- 3 cloves of garlic crushed, smashed, then finely minced.
- 1 inch worth of fresh ginger root julienne.
- 1 onion roughly cut.
- salt and pepper.
- 1 tsp. thyme.
- Olive oil.
Method:
- Stir fry on high heat the onion in the oil till it becomes transparent.
- Throw in the garlic and stir fry on high heat till you get that beautiful aroma.
- Finally throw in the ginger.
- Pour in the wine, thyme and keep stirring on high heat till the wine odor is expelled.
- At that point reduce heat, and simmer till they are tender.
- Meanwhile prepare the normal white rice.
Serve cuttlefish on white rice and a salad on the side.
