Went to the local Herb and Spice market and got some smoked paprika made from the Florinis type of red pepper. It is delicious....
Instead of putting the usual hot chili 1 Tbsp. of this red sweet paprika was used which turned the pasta RED!! No tomato of any kind was used.
For the Greek friends of this blog, this paprika can be found at "Bahar" found at the cross-roads Evripidou Street and Athinas Street, in Athens.
You will need:
- 500 gr.spaghettini.

- 6 cloves of garlic minced.
- 1 cup olive oil.
- 1 Tbsp. paprika.
- Salt to taste.
Method:
- Boil spaghettini as per instructions on the box and the "How To" section of this blog.
- 1 minute before they are ready, drain.
- Add olive oil, heat.
- Add garlic, and paprika, the oil is going to turn red.
