Map of Grevena In Western Macedonia, Greece. |
Pleurotus Mushrooms are some of the tastiest and meaty mushrooms. The town of Grevena (Γρεβενά) in North Western Greece, is the home of mushrooms of Greece. Needless to say that the humidity is high, temperatures are lower than normal, and maybe unfit for humans to live there. They must all suffer from arthritis! Today Sunday November 6th is the last of a two day "Mushroom Festival" in the village of Ziáka.
